Just to clarify things,
Auto fold mirrors along with walk away locking and a glove box light was introduced in November 16 so appear on some late 66 models that were ordered direct from the factory.

The majority filtered through on 17 plates.

If yours has auto fold mirrors on a 16 plate, it’s been retro fitted.
There was an option to fit a genuine add on box as well as a Nissan box and after market devices to do the same thing. Available from the likes of eBay and aliexpress.

My Kadjar (ordered in August 16 and delivered in the beginning of December) has walk away locking and auto folding mirrors but the dealership Kadjar that I tested in August didn't have this feature. As far as I know there is no way to turn this off, so if your Kadjar doesn't fold mirrors then it is not equipped with this feature.

Mine is 16 plate summer 16 without it. Thought about the add on kit but its about £70

Just bought the box for mine (65 plate), hopefully installing Thursday.
