Hi All!

I have been reading the forum for help and advice for a long time and found it really helpful! I have a 2016 1.5 diesel Kadjar, currently very dirty!! It will be having a full valet tomorrow as I have a day off so will see about getting some pics on.

I have a bit of an issue, when pulling the release for the fuel flap it failed to open, I managed to get it open at the flap but not sure if someone had been tampering with it as it doesnt seem to be aligned properly and it isnt springing open,it looks to me that the spring inside isnt where it should be. I have attached a pic so you can see what I mean, is anyone able.to post a pic of what it should look like please? I have searched the forum but cant find any posts on a similar issue which is why I think it may have been tampered with.

Thanks all

Thanks for that, looks the same, I thought maybe the spring should be in the little gap behind it?? It seems that mine isnt aligned properly, makes me thing more that some scrote has had a go at it. It doesnt want to open more than in my pic either and yours seems to be open fully??

It's got me a little annoyed now as I dont think its just a random fault...

Yes, that is fully open, is a little tight so might need some lubrication.

When I first pull the lever it opens the amount in the picture.

Ok thank you, that does help, something isnt quite right, it looks more like it could be the alignment then as it isnt popping open but when pulling the release leaver the release in the flap compartment is moving, so it isnt that.
