You just need some form of led lighting, I used the flexible led strips single colour although you can use multi colour controlled by an app if you want.
If you are going down the route of multi colour then look for a controller like the one in the picture, these have ‘non volatile memory’ so when the power is off and comes back on it remembers which setting it had. Some other controllers start flashing randomly.
The strips are available in lengths like on the spools and are cuttable then need a little soldering to add wire.
If you don’t want to go down this route look on the selling sites for footwell lights which are all ready made up and just require fitting in.

I have four strips one under each side of the dash and one under each of the front seats to illuminate the rear foot wells.

The feed for these is taken from the front interior light which is easy to get to and route done the A pillar

I’ve got leds all over the place, but not in the mirrors, only the turn signal.

Tell me what you have seen and as if I can help?

I want to install "mirror courtesy lighting" like in the picture.
But I don't know where to get power from, and how can I remove the mirror, for drilling and getting the wires in.
