Was not able to access the Developer screens with finger taps as in ytube vid and as described. Tried loads of times. I then had a brainwave and used a touchscreen stylus, accessed first time (and several after), must be suffering Fat Finger syndrome ;)

OMG it was soooo simple using the Stylus, it is the first GDT I have ever been able to get into Developer Mode!
Thanks for the input.

Now for those other smart members, can I switch on the rear running lights in DM, if so, where do I go to do it or have I got to use DDT4ALL?

I think it's only possible in ddt4all:

The screenshot is for Developer Mode and it's not in the list:

Regarding navigation Favorites.
Each time we install a sofware update on our R-link devices we lost our Favorites.
Is there a way to install custom Favorites? That would be a good solution to build the Favorites on PC and install it to R-Link.
On my Android smartphone with IGo app the Favorites is stored in one simple text file \sdcard\Android\data\com.nng.igo.primong.igoworld\files\save\profiles\01\users\00\user.upoi
Does R-Link support .upoi file type?
What is the full path to this file in R-Link? or how can I browse R-Link file system?

Hi guys.

I'm a proud owner of a Kadjar 11.2016 and read the entire topic (damn ... 61 pages). I am aware of all the "risks", all the upgrade and downgrade procedures, made a list of all the features i want to enable.
The only question, as i saw different values, is: which is the correct value for the reverse camera? RobertP said 59 not 57, but Paw said 52.5.

I got the car like 2 days ago and want to activate AA.

Also, i've read about the update to 7 which can be performed in the service, should i go to that? My car still has 6 months of warranty, so i should be able to do it in store, if its still available.

Thank you,
Mike

Its 52.20, the value for reverse camera guidelines. As for update to 7 at this point I'm not sure which is better. I'd personally go for the unofficial 3.3.
One of the first Kadjars from Nov. 2015 - 1.2 TCe Manual ZEN - "old" R-Link (gen 1.1, soft 2.2) successfully updated to 3.3 with AA

Has anyone managed to get Apple car play working on this yet or is it still just Android auto?
