I’ve just driven over from France back to old blighty and confidently said to swim no that we could change the console from kilomètres to miles.

Blowed if I can work out how to do it. It’s supposed to be an option under profile system units, but I don’t have that option. Am I stuffed?

I’ve currently resorted to the piece of paper on the dash with all the speed conversions listed.

Instrument panel in miles

(option to switch to km/h)

Vehicles not fitted with a navigation system

- With the ignition off, press the OK button 2 and the start button 6;

- using control 1, select “Settings”, “Instrument panel”, then the unit;

- Press the OK button 2 to confirm.

To return to the previous mode, repeat the same operation.

Vehicles fitted with a navigation system

On the multifunction screen, select “System”, “User profile” and “Unit”.

Note: In both cases, once the battery is switched off, the on-board computer automatically returns to the original unit of measurement.

If your car is French origin, there is no option to change units. It’s only available on UK registered vehicles.

Yep it’s a French one, guess they never thought anyone would be stupid enough to drive a French car to the UK. well they were wrong, what a strange thing to do.

Thank’s for the confirmation that I’m not losing the plot.

If you have speed limits displayed in your Speedo display, they automatically show the Km equivalent of UK road limits. E.g. for 50mph, the speedo display will show 80kph, 70mph will display as 113kph, etc.
