I think you can only change the brightness for the period that is not currently active, so if on day brightness, you can alter the night % and vice versa.
Nouveau (2019) Kadjar Black Édition, TCe 160 EDC FAP, Flame Red ( despite the edition name ).

Just turn on the front lights manually from the stalk and the setting is editable. Then revert back to automatic or at your choice ;)
