I have started to get a problem with my offside wing mirror not retracting when I turn the engine off.The nearside wing mirror is fine. Has anyone else had this problem?

Spray it with silicone. Helps on mine.

Same here for me, the passenger mirror was quite slower a couple of times than the driver's. After a few open-and-close sessions, the speed got almost similar.

Following the advice given from AOne, I have bent the wing mirror back and sprayed the spindle with WD40 and all seems well again.

Ned, WD40 is a water dispersal fluid. After using that, please use a silicon or some other white grease to lubricate the mirror otherwise it'll stop working very quickly again.

+1 I'm with you here. Lots of people use WD40 as a lubricant, but it ain't exactly such a thing.
