Hi, I have an issue with Cruise control/Speed limiter.

Usually, I would press the button; green light would come on and I would set the speed. But yesterday, I just could not keep the car in Cruise control.

There are 3 scenarios for the fault Check Cruise control:
• Immediately after pressing the button (no green light on the display),
• Green light comes on, I set the speed (or try to set speed) and it faults after setting,
• Or after some time while driving in cruise control.

It has happened usually with winter wheels set but sometimes also with summer ones.

I have 2 sets of wheels (tyres), summer R19 225/45 which came with car and have Tyre pressure sensors. Winter R16 215/65, without Tyre pressure sensors.

Could it be related with tyre size and/or Tyre pressure sensors?

Also, I was driving 50 km/h and engaged cruise control, it was running but when I disabled Start/Stop Cruis control went off showing once again Check Cruise control…
Can Start/Stop influence Cruise control?

Is your handbrake automatically releasing on startup (moving from standstill).

Then it's not what my first thought was - defective indicator for gear position. Is it possible, that there is moisture in the box with the fuses and ECU under the hood?

It can be possible, but I have to check.
Do you thing that Tyre size or pressure monitoring system can de-activate Cruise control?
