I'd like to say hello there to all the forum friends and users, this is my first post so why not make it an informative one.
I've been reading these forums for a while now since I got my Kadjar late last year. I have done may a modification to it using the wealth of knowledge and posts on here.

so far I've done:

Rear DRL's
DRL off on turn signal
Corner fog illumination OFF
rear camera install
upgrade Rlink to enable Android Auto
installed window and auto folding mirror kit
LED Number plate lights.
Hydraulic bonnet struts
Retro fitted a Foldaway Towbar
sound proofed the doors and rear cabin.

and now to this weekend which was install LED indicators front and rear

for this you will need 4x Led yellow/amber bulbs (581 PY21W)
I just bought some from EBAY ebay leds
some tools including a knife ,torques bits, some panel trim tools(not really required but makes things easier)
and probably the best tool in the world a laptop with DDT4ALL on.

To start with take the rear lights out, hand screw on the inside and two torques bit screws on the lamp and lever our the light housing from the body, the indicator bulb is held in with a quarterish turn on the back housing, turning this and pulling reveals the bulb, replace with new LED Bulb and replace all you've removed , do the same for both sides.

N ow to the front, these are even easier than the rear as there is only one item to remove, that is the bulb carrier it's self, open the bonnet and reach behind the light cluster where the indicator bulb is, and the carrier is a long flat edged piece that again removes with a slight turn, not quarter maybe 1/8 turn and pull to remove, there are no wires connecting this piece, remove the old bulb replace the new LED in it place, These bulb carriers are keyed and will only go in one way, unfortunately this is the wrong way to make the LED's work so the keying needs removing, this keying is a small piece of plastic about a 1mm thick on one side of the bulb carrier, this is done with a knife, it just needs to be shaved down to the body of the holder. To refit to ensure the bulb is the right way round ,turn in the hazard lights and put the carrier back in, turn the carrier clockwise so it is vertical, if the light does not light then remove turn it 180 degrees and reinstall, now is should flash along with the other bulbs.

Now it is flashing in the normal pattern and timing ,but if you were it use the indicator, it would flash with a lamp out warning pattern IE fast, to get around this a tweek has to be made to the settings in the cars software using DDT4ALL.
The setting is in the BCM/UCH. choose the one for your car then go to; HwDiagnostic - configuration, and the flags are Front / Rear _FLASHER_WITH_BULBS_CF And change the flags to False. bingo the indicators will now work as normal.
