Hi guys,

I want to keep traffic sign recognition on, but disable the speed warning beeps. Is there a way to do this?
Been poking around the menus, but can't find anything.

Cheers

Yes, you can. I'll check the exact menu location later, when I get into the car. It should be in the Navigation, under Sounds and warnings or something like that...

Yes mine gives the visual speed limits so it picks up on speed limit signs. Maybe 1 week in 10 it gives a spoken speed camera warning along with a visual camera sign in the screen, but this drops out for no reason even though still set on in all windows. Multiple resets before I can get it back on.

However the warnings that should be given for hazardous areas etc that I assume are read from road signs have never worked in spite of always been set to on.. Does this feature use the same or separate camera?

I think, the hazardous areas should be read from traffic info. But I never saw such warning anyway...

I seem to remember that if the volume is off in the nav, you don't get the verbal warnings
