It’s all there by the looks of it ... some times the outer cable can slip and the inner cable is not long enough to release the mechanism... take it back it’s an easy fix...

Yes, it is there :) Even the plastic cap is on it :D
Do you manage to pull the wire, or when pulling nothing happens? It should go out for about 2 inches. Maybe it has not been used alot and is just stuck. Try to help it a little.

Thanks for your help guys, had you not said check, I would have taken the dealerships word for it. I have taken it back today for them to look at it and as it’s still under warranty, I should get it back fully working.

I will update when I have more information.

OEM manufacter is Bosal for retractable towbar. Wire loom is original Renault part in case old one was removed. Start search in this direction.
2016 White 1.6 dCi 4WD BOSE with Premium Techno Pack, Winter Pack, Panoramic glass roof & autodipp mirror and retractable towbar.
Added ambient illumination, few chrome trims,
Replaced R-Link2 V2.2 SW version 9. 0.34.611, enabled Android Auto and CarPlay (change USB slots)

Went back to dealership earlier to pick up my car and the towbar is fully functional. They said that it was stiff due to it not being used and they have cleaned it up and it is ready to use.

Thank you for your help and advice as I know it was mentioned by AOne that it may be sticking. Jus have to get a caravan to start using it.
