Just trying to work out one or two things with the (new to me Kadjar...  Is there some trick with Hill start assist in the Kadjar? I've had it in the Focus and Captur, and it was just a case of a good old push on the brake pedal to hold the car for that second or two while you take away? Thanks alll

Hmmm... I'm giving a good size 12 boot, the only thing I've noticed in the manual is it has to be in gear... SO maybe my normal technique of clutch (for auto restart) and boot brake together as engagin 1st isn't quite good enough... Maybe it's clutch, 1st,  boot brake...  I'll see what happens.

All the cars I've used with it have all been manuals, tried it again on the way home and there was no hint of braking despite a hefty stomp on the brake, a pause to make sure 1st gear was fully engaged, and I rolled back an inch or two... I'll get  a dealer to see if there's an issue

Hi,
I have always found that this needs an extra hard push on the brake to activate.
