How do you remove the interior trim from the n/side windscreen pillar... many thanks

If you mean the ‘A’ pillar trim then a short sharp tug starting at the top should release the clips, draw back about 30mm, there’s a 50 mm tie clip that prevents the trim from flying off in a crash, this needs to be unclipped from the hole then carry on working down to the dash pulling the trim.

What you thinking, try to push the dent out? I think just filling from the outside without risking any further damage would be a better option provided there is no distortion under the glass seal. This is why I said in the earlier post that I thought it unlucky to have hit the frame rather than cracked the glass which is a cheaper repair.

The pillar is solid so that’s not an option a chap lives a few doors up from me will fill and spray it when we get home ... here is the repair he did for me when so kind neighbour did this but did not own up to it... he only charged me £60 and I still have the paint ...

So should still be a cheap repair, cheers
