Having spent many hours in the past working on cars to make them run (plugs 'n points, new clutches, head-gaskets, half-shaft bearings, refurb oil-pumps....), the last thing I want to do is to spend time working on a car. In 21 months all I've done to the Kadjar is add petrol and windscreen washer liquid, and keep it clean.
But we do buy cars that have features that we like. These include: front-and-rear parking sensors, darkened back windows, cruise-control and wing-mirrors that fold-in when you lock the car. This time we chose a car with a reversing camera and built-in sat-nav and I think we'd go for those again too.
The gas-struts that allow you to lift the bonnet and it stay there, without using the bar looks a good idea, but there's no way I'm going to fit them, and there's better uses of my money than to pay someone else to do it!
