From internet. I have now all R-Link versions to be downloaded. But before passing from an old version (2-3 to 7-8-9), your Boot Version must be updated on a Renault Garage. I have now 5616 boot version from 4711.
From 2.2. I've updated myself to 9 in just 9 minutes.

But still no CarPlay since PCB missing on system board of R-Link2...

Let’s put it this way... upgrading boot version is a part of official upgrade procedure for old devices to V7. Improper upgrade cause failure of camera, sensors, etc... if they manage to upgrade boot version there is an easiest part to upgrade to V7... no compatibility issues...
Gudelines alignment issue is present when upgrading from V2 to V3 since picture format of rear camera changes from 4:3 to 16:9...
I have new device with initial V9 and guidelines alignment is fine.
