who thinks up the bloody names? is there a box of crap names in the corner of the design department and they pick one out 

and the car looks like its been run into a wall, flat front again it will be soon you wont be able to tell the back from the front

Brand naming is a nightmare, and companies spend gazillions on it... The main thing is that the name mustn't be offensive in languages where the product is sold... Prime examples of "ooopses" are the Vauxhall Nova.  In Spanish this means "doesn't go". Great for a car... Not...

Also, ICI Pharmaceuticals got spun out from ICI Group, and was named Zeneca... At the time the Yugoslav civil wars were ongoing, and a town which had a massacre was Zenica....
