Thanks. I don't believe my usb is sorted into folders. It hasn't been a problem with my previous cars. I'll perhaps have to give it a go.

Make sure the tracks start with the Track Number.

Hi again Duracel. I've took a couple of photos this morning and combined them showing an album on my USB stick, then how the album is shown in the Album Menu and lastly how it appears in the Folder Menu. USB is how it is, the Album Menu ignores the correct numbering and numbers the tracks alphabetically and lastly the Folder Menu which shows the tracks again in the correct order. I'm afraid I can't get my head around it. Any advice from someone on the forum who is Media Format Literate would be appreciated. Ta very much, Patrick.

Try not to put space between number and name. Use "_" instead. You can also check the ID tag in "file properties" of the song. The problem might be there.

Mark58N reformat your USB stick in FAT32 format and then recopy your audio files back on to it and try again, it should work. Make sure your albums are in Folders. I had a "Eureka" moment this evening and realised that i had never formatted my USB stick, I'd just used it straight from the box, which was ok for my last car but obviously not for the Kadjar. I reformatted my USB stick in FAT32, recopied my audio files back on and lo and behold, it works fine. It only took me 16 months to fathom it out, but at least the old grey cells still work sometimes. Thanks everybody.
