Can't update 5 years 7 months ago #1

Hi,

I've just bought a 2016 Kadjar yesterday.
I've created an R-Link account and it says there are several updates required.

I've formatted a USB2.0 16GB flash drive in FAT32 and inserted it in USB 1 port in the car(left it for a while)
When I removed it and put it in my laptop, the R-Link toolbox doesn't seem to see it although windows does and shows 2 folders (R-LINK and LOST>DIR)

Any idea what I'm missing as I want to update it and renew the live traffic subscription?

I followed the manual update process and done in 10 minutes. Thanks for your help

Now, I have purchased the map updates.
Can't get anything via the toolbox as it says no car found and doesn't seem to see my USB(still shows on explorer with the correct folders)

Any idea how I can get my map updates as I'd like the live traffic too

Are you sure the car has been totally deregistered from the previous owner

I wouldn't know but it's unlikely.
How can I do that? I've no way of contacting the previous owner as I bought it from a garage.

Contact Renault Connectivity Dept, +44 3443 690000 they are open 09.00 - 17.00 Mon - Fri. You will need your VIN No. , not sure if they will be on Easter Monday but no harm in trying I guess.
There is also a website http://www.easyconnect.renault.com and also https://easyconnect.renault.co.uk/systems/r-link2 not sure if either of these links will be of use.
