Hello I have been speaking with Renault Switzerland and the dealer but no one can put this function to switch of on the normal setting.
As my Kadjar was sold as a 2017 model( invoice 2017 model) but chassis number is 2015, and it came with version 2.0. and I never detected that the volume sound changes, but now it has 7.0. and I can not switch it off.

Hi. I also have a 2017 Kadjar, built in October 2016. It also originally had R-link2 software version 2, but the dealer upgraded to 7.0.24.161. After the upgrade, the menus changed and more sound options were added.
Isn't this what you are looking for? Menu-Multimedia-Settings-Sound-(scroll down)-Volume/Speed. You can turn it on or off and change the sensibility. See photos.

Interesting. I have many sound settings, but if I scroll down with my finger I reach that one.
So you might be on the right track, that for some reason this is not activated in your car. Or rather - it seems to be activated, without the possibility to turn it off?!

The difference here is the Bose never had it, it could be activated from the developers menu, but after V7 it couldn’t be done.
It’s there on the standard non Bose.

Correction. It could not be activated after V 3.3... I have activated in trough developer mode. After upgrade it remained activated but not present in menu. Can change values trough developer mode, it actually works (kind of). I have Bose sound system.
