Seems quite a bit of brand loyalty here, if I add in my wifes cars it's Clio/Megane/Clio.

This turned into a trip down memory lane!

Classic Mini (Mum's car)
MG Midget (aka the Rustbucket) good fun, especially when upgraded with twin 1.75" SU carbs.

Morris Marina (started own company so very cheap. Drank oil)
Vauxhall something I have erased from my memory as it was a death trap (two cars for the price of one!)
Citroen BX19 GTi. Lovely car but quite surprised I am still alive as it went like the clappers. Serious brake fade if pushed too hard.

My previous car that I had to sell in order to afford the Kadjar was a 2001 Subaru Legacy station wagon. To this day I am sorry that I had to sell it as it was a great car. But then I also own a 2012 Peugeot 207 (wife drives it) and I don't need 3 cars, so one had to go. The Subaru being the oldest, with highest probability of failure.. was an obvious choice.

My three previous cars before the Kadjar were: Renault Laguna II 1.8, Renault Megane Coupe, Renault Captur TCE. Never had a moment's trouble with any of them, nor with the Kadjar for that matter. I don't know whether that is brand loyalty or just laziness on my part (can't be bothered to shop around!}. Never had a diesel in 55 year's driving.

Well, If I look back to my 18-th year (when started driving), I've begun with a Moskvich (Москвич), Golf II. Jetta II, Audi S (my brother let me use a car bougth second hand which was obviously tuned a lot - this thing made 0-240 km'h in no time and you don't even understand till you see the speedo, got shocked and remove your foot, cause it is still accelerating fast), then a Peugeot 306, Scenic 1.5 '08 and now the Kadjar. All of them were good cars, except the Russian suicide machine, but at least it made me go deep in the abyss of Know Hows and DIY stuff
