I am collecting my 2015 1.6 dci Signature today from the local Renault dealership. The original owner had the retractable towbar option factory fitted however the towbar has been removed.

I have searched the internet high and low but am unable to find an after market retractable towbar. It seems pointless having to have a new towbar fitted when all the necessary parts are in place and the only part missing is the towbar.

Does anyone know where I can purchase the original retractable towbar?

I can't believe that someone has gone to the trouble to remove the old one to put on a new Kadjar, if and when I sell mine it goes with the towbar and I would buy a new car with one factory fitted.

You say retractable tow bar ... bit more info please... I fitted an original retractable tow bar if I was to remove it all the tow bar would be taken away . The wires etc are plug and play so it’s just a case of unplug and away you go. If it was a full factory retractable bar on the near side you will see a small part of the carpet wall cut away or the locating point for the toggle switch ... Or has the previous owner had a removable tow bar where he has only taken the swan neck... if this is the case you will be able to contact the manufacturer or a supplier of tow bar and get a new swan neck ...

I got mine from Glyn Hopkin google they sells various manufacturers parts contact no is 01708 772866...

Is it possible, that the swan neck is there, but just folded (under the bumper)?

I have just looked under the vehicle and I have attached some images. It looks like the towbar may be there and it may be that the release in the boot is not working. I am taking it back to the dealership today and I shall show them the pictures.
