On the Kadjar there is a space for a camera without the license light.

It’s just a bolt on type but it’s got to be 6volts.

This is the one I have

Guys, be careful ordering cameras without double-checking you have prewired Kadjar. I suggest you check you have +6V on the relevant wire. Last weekend, I connected an origininal camera to these 4 wires prepared for camera, but it didn't work. So I checked it and there was no voltage. At the end, after looking directly on R-link module under the display, I realized that in my Kadjar, while threre are these 4 disconnected wires on the fifth door, they are not leading to R-link :-/ Kadjar 2018/03, bought in Czechia. So now I have to buy a four core cable and do it from scratch :-(

Should have checked for voltage whilst I had the panel off. Doh!

Did a quick write up on the trim removal too. https://www.renaultkadjarforum.com/forum/interior-exterior/728-how-to-remove-boot-lid-interior-trim.html

Can anybody tell me if the pins in the boot multi plug are standard molex type? Or, point me in the direction of pins too fit please.

hi

ok...just had car delivered...it is a 2018 (uk) pre facelift model.....

the number plate is fixed lower down on the 'bumper' not on the tailgate

it looks like i will have to look at a camera that fits to the number plate light?

do you know what would be the best one to order...(without built in led's) to fit as above.......i would be wary of drilling through bodywork....as a novice on cars...

i would also be interested in fitting front/rear parking sensors.......is that doable.....easy or complex and again....any ideas where to order from...

love the car...very comfy....dyamique nav version....just do not understand why parking sensors would not have been fitted from launch on that model...

thanks again for any guidance/assist offered

cheers

andy
