Hi,
I have always found that this needs an extra hard push on the brake to activate.

I have just tried it again, and I couldn't stand on the brake harder, and it still rolled back... I need to get it checked out by Renault

What sort of gradiant/angle of slope are you on?
Are you pointing up or down?
I think, but not sure, anything under 10 degrees hill assist will not work.

It's enough for the car to start rolling back, and all other cars I've driven with HSA work on it, including the Captur… I live in Essex and it's not exactly renowned for its hills, but there  are a couple of steeper junctions that I'll try on...

The Captur and the Kadjar HSA should operate the same so perhaps you should pay a visit to dealer as you suggested and then after give us some feedback.

Well.... Not been to the dealer, and may not... On the way home tonight I had to drop off at the docs to pick up a prescription.  The Car Park and drive is quite steep, and it was quiet  so I thought an ideal place to test... and... it worked on both occasions... The proof will be trying it in other places and see what happens.
