I would really like to do this with mine. I am assuming that the soldered wires and where you have soldered them to mean that when you close the door, the lights go off as they do with the normal interior ones?

Also, how did you mount leds in the door handle outside, are the drilled in or something?

Yes I’ve taken it from the interior light to follow door opening. I’ve also have an in line fuse holder for each side behind the interior light.

The door handle needs to be removed and 3 mm holes drilled in to accommodate the leds. The cabling follows the Oe loom into the cabin. I use plugs and sockets to connect everything up.

Ah I see, so the holes were drilled into the handle itself not the body of the door?

And yeah I’m in the uk.
