There was a video some time ago on Youtube showing a guy dismantling the dash, and holding in hands the vents ducting construction;
It seemed like plastic parts poorly connected delivering plenty of intensive creaking sounds. Even after decent efforts to tape the different parts, some creaking noises were there.
My Kadjar must be one of the worst assembled vehicles; entire dash reproduced all kind of noises, depending on hot / cold / sunlight exposure and tarmac surface.
After several visits to the dealers within warranty, situation has been improved to an "acceptable" (=easier to live with) level of noise but far from anything called "quiet". For the record this is a car with less than 30K Kms most of them on high quality highway tarmac & just over 2,5 years old.
Overall very poor assembly quality (plus some unacceptable engineer deficiencies such as the rattling noise produced when windows are slightly opened) for a car Renault positions to the premium category (above QQ level).
