My Kadjar is the S model and is 20 months old. I have managed now to get the split home screen ie map/radio and that now appears every time I start the car.
I know now that I cannot get a permanent full screen on start up but when I go out today I will check tapping one of the split screens to see if it downs enlarge.
I do not understand much aboutupdates on the system but looking in My Renault there does seem to be an update available for my car.
It is in for service this month so I will ask the dealer to do this for me.

You are completely correct. I tapped the radio square and the full radio screen (with all the progs and in colour) appeared. Then hitting the home button returned it to the two screens. Same happend withe other square (map)
Appreciate your input as it took me some time withe help of this forum to set everything up after changing from Peugeot. I am very happy with the Kadjar - it's a lovely car especially with the glass roof and Cosmos Blue painwork
