Hah - did you notice, Google maps already displays icons\pictures with logos at some POIs, just like in TomTom (and RLink)

Definitely need to take a step back and look at the maps situation differently.
I'm going to have a think about this during my boring day and look at potential options open to us.
I also believe we should have a look at the licencing, who do we need a licence from, obviously Tomtom is one but who else, Renault? Once there is an understanding of the licence obligation we will possibly know whether there is a way to proceed and bypass Renaults high pricing structure. The other issue is Traffic alerts which would require Renaults comms network.

From my understanding we can discuss about maps, how to built packages etc etc as much as we want… We can freely post detailed instructions, all news about cracks… as long we do not provide any source files… Files should be requested individually trough PM, e-mails

Surprisingly we don't have AA/Waze topic! Actually I am not going to discuss these, but maybe one who is interested should create the topic?
Also there is no Mirroring topic. This would be interesting to check, if it works without root. I don't have root so have nothing to add

There were some topics regarding CarStream, AAMirror and stuff like that, since these were not requiring root. I've played with them a year ago, but then lost interest... The quality of the YouTube videos was not good as I remember. They were laggy and so on. But yes, it would be an interesting topic to discuss furder.
