Yes, I checked ant the file names are the same, I used sku creator for this. In Rlink it checks the validation sum and after that it says there is not enought space on device even if the new maps occupy less space then the previous maps ( 2020.12 TomTom )

I once had that problem. My solution was maybe not the optimal one, but it seemed like the R-link "did not understand" that the files would substitute present ones. So I split the update in four parts (each of them smaller than the available space). That worked.

i have talisman 2016 year. my software rlink2 version is 3.3.16.981 i tryed full options of navigation with 3d buildings and newer 3d no work.what type maps i need for my software version the work 3d

I managed to update my system from 2.2.19.300 to 3.3.16.961 (following instructions and files provided on this forum, greatly appreciated!   ) and would like to update my maps now too if possible.
At the moment I have maps that came with the car dated 2014/2015. I don't mind if they are IGO, HERE TomTom as long as they are a bit newer than what I have. 
I do understand that I need to patch the partition first so if you could please include everything required for updating would be greatly appreciated.

 I have managed to update my 2016 Kadjar from 2.2 to 3.3 following the instructions and also activated Android Auto.
Now i need to upgrade the maps, but here i'm completely lost
I'v read the whole thread and i understand that first i have to unlock the unit with some file and than install the maps. 
The files for unlock are found on the forum but i can't find any working link for maps.
  Can you please help me? Thank you!
