They have tried phoning me 2 or 3 times from a withheld number which gets blocked on my Mobile so it goes to answer phone. They have also text me a couple of times with a contact name and a mobile number to text on. I text the supplied number telling them that phoning the number from a withheld number gets blocked, so they phoned me on the same number again!

I have provided an alternate number to call me on via a text I sent back , no call as yet.

Quite frankly I would sooner deal with it via email as it is not easy for me to have private calls while at work, too much of a distraction, and I'm not really permitted to have a personal phone with me and some jobs no phone at all!

i agree mate, best get it in writing you know what they are like  

I emailed them back last night stating it is better to deal with me by email as I can't take private calls and work, we will see what happens now.

Have actually had an email back from Customer Services today, my case has been assigned to another CS Manager, which just as well because the last one seemed not to understand I was unable to talk on the phone! 

Nothing to report yet, just clarification as to my problem.

Here is an update, I have been to the dealer today at the request of Renault UK Customer Services to have pictures taken of the alloy so should hear back next week what, if anything, will happen next.

So today I have had a text message from Renault UK CS stating they have at long last received pictures from Dealer and are passing them on to their warranty department for a decision. As I believe the wheel corrosion does not come under the anti-corrosion warranty I won't be holding my breath!
