Unfortunately, not all car stereos support spotify promotion . Most likely, the problem is with your car radio.

Well

Even in Dacia Sandero with ordinary car stereo (no touch display, only USB and BT connection) with prehistoric CD player can play Spotify over USB/BT connection. Only thing you have to do is to start playing playlist on phone. Then even commands on remote controller/satelite works (to go song forward/back).
So, there is no problem to play Spotify on R-LINK (even without AA or CP). Only main difference with AA/CP is that you can start app and start playing with touch on R-LINK display.
