Hi All, I am a new member and this is my first post. I have the leather heated seats and unfortunately the drivers seat has stopped working. When you press the switch the two lights come on for approx 5 secs and then they go out. I have swapped the switch with the working passenger seat and get the same result which would indicate a fault with the drivers seat. Has anyone else experienced this problem and did they get a resolution?
There are several connectors under the seat but didn't want to re-seat them as until I know which one relates to the heated seat I didn't want to trigger the airbags in the seat.
Any advice would be appreciated.

OK, so you have proved the switch is OK so next I would be looking at the thermostat however, not having heated seats myself, I cannot tell you where it is located if indeed it has one.
If the heating element cables are accessible, I would be looking at the continuity of the elements.

Thermostats sound feasible, having installed my own not sure the exact workings of the OE. I presume they are carbon inserts, the switches are a push button type. I would think there’s going to be a control unit located somewhere, with relays maybe. I wonder if the relays can be heard to give a clue as to there location.

As for connections SRS cabling and connectors are usually colour coded yellow so avoid these. And the trouble with these cars is if you disconnect any airbag circuit you need the diagnostics to turn the light off.
Also be careful using a multimeter as in continuity setting can inject voltage, be it small into the system.

Maybe someone could look at a wiring/component layout diagram to see where things are. I don’t have access at the moment, a long way from home.
