Hello . I wonder if anyone can help me with a question I have. Last year I left the Kadjar in the long term parking in the airport for one month .
When I returned the battery ( One and a half years old) was flat. I am going abroad again this year. Is there any way I can prevent the battery draining out? Thanks.,
Pierre

Just unplug the red wire from the battery and lock with the key hidden inside the keycard.

It will definitely disable the Alarm, after a period of time as that has its own battery back up, as for coding I'm not sure.
When you have left the car for a long period, month, does the engine try and turn all be it a click or is everything dead? I'm a little surprised it is that flat after only a month.

Well, my guess is - nothing wrong will happen, but it's just a guess. Better, ask the dealer.

Mine has no alarm, but as I read the forum, all the UK's have. Suppose it's an ensurer request.

PS: duracel3634 is right. The battery should last way more then a month.

When I had my Captur, I sometimes left it for up to 8 weeks without a problem.
This year, it will be 7 weeks so I'm hoping that the same result will occur. I immobilised the movement sensors before I left it as a precaution against the alarm going off and annoying everyone, as well as potentially draining the battery.
