Hi, I have a 2016 Kadjar and the Radio / SAT Nav head unit died and needs to be replaced. Renault asking ridiculous money to replace the part (+1400!) , which seems to be available second hand from parts stores but according to Renault secondhand units cannot be recoded to the car (!) and must be new to match the cars coding. Even the Parts guy seems to think this is not strictly true. Surely there must be a way of coding the part from One Kadjar salvaged to another once the unit is identical spec. I got the second hand unit fitted but showing the anti theft error, which would be expected.
Is anyone familiar with this type of issue or could advise who or what company could code one for the RLink2 system. ?
