it is a worry mate, what happened to rolling transcoding the code changed every time, first used on Cat 1 and Cat 2 security device the code changed every time so couldn't be scanned  that was what it was for 

so the Mfg have fitted a lower security key and a non category one alarm system that would have a transcoded immobiliser to fit a button to start the car. what was the problem with a key?

We use empty foil crisp packets for our keys. Try it - wrap a key in one and try to open your car. We found that the signal was blocked.

what also works put your phone on your key or in your pocket together, see how it wont work then 

I have received my pouches today, got 2 pairs so the missus has her car covered.
Should I be impressed with them, well the work even when standing by the car or even in the car.

Found out that a long time ago (when bought a Scenic in 2003)... even if you in a car it won start either stop... with Kadjar you need to simulate a pressed key on door handle otherwise is no good. And correct me if I am wrong; but in first release of Kadjar car initiate communications with card to lock/unlock car... on press key on door handle.
