Found out that a long time ago (when bought a Scenic in 2003)... even if you in a car it won start either stop... with Kadjar you need to simulate a pressed key on door handle otherwise is no good. And correct me if I am wrong; but in first release of Kadjar car initiate communications with card to lock/unlock car... on press key on door handle.


Yes, door button needs to be pressed to open and again to lock or double tap to deadlock. Same can obviously be done using the buttons on the remote.

Thats been a pain in the arse for me for years, the qashqai was the same.

Found out last week that a packet of (foil wrapped) x strong mints also "shrouds" the key
