Hello. I'm new here. I'll stick to the topic. I bought Kadjar 1.5dci EDC 2016 79t km a month ago. I have similar problem as "1898". The car jerks after night when I starting from a standstill to the rear or forward as if it want to turn off - once it even turned off. This only happens in the morning after a long stop. Now is fairly low temperature about 10 degree. Later in the day the car works very well. In the morning the engine starts normally. It looks like the engine is loosing speed and power. What could it be?

They will exchange the dual cluch on the 5 year guarantee I got. I will report back if that is the solution.

In my case, I don't believe it is a clutch issue. I checked my Kadjar with OBD Check Torque and inCarDoc and both applications reported the fault P0380 Glow Plug / Heater Circuit "A". I thought OK, a damaged glow plug and when starting after a long stop at temperatures of 8-10 degrees Celsius, the car engine goes out. It's diesel. The symptom is as if the manual transmission was moved without adding acceleration. Two kangaroo jumps and then everything is ok. I checked the glow plugs and in fact the plug on the second cylinder was broken. I replaced it and it is a little better - in reverse in the morning it did not jerk, but forward two "little kangaroos" and everything is ok. Maybe I should replace all the glow plugs? Maybe the fault is on the controller side of the glow plug heating. The P0380 fault is gone. I can't believe Getrag makes 40t km automatic gearboxes. Sorry for my English. Regards and thanks for the answer.

I now have the new double cluch in place. However I felt the same stumble last start anyway, so I guess the trouble is elseware. Glow plugs or injectors I suppose? But should those not show up as faults in the computer? Or could an old and weak battery be a fault, not being able to power the cluch servo motors properly, when engine is essentially at idling rpms?

hi, I kind of have the opposit issue car won't go to first gear only if its almost stopped fully like its at 900 to 1000rev at hill and still holds second gear same on straight, so all time when I accelerate you can feel small shake as car doesn't have enough power , same in both eco and if eco mode is off, so was wondering if there is kind of driving style memory that coz old driver or myself at begging used to accelerate harsher that is doing this, or just that the way ecu was set, any idea?
thanks

Initially, with the new cluch, the gear changes were a bit slow and not very smooth. But over time it has self adjusted, and now works as new with no more engine stops, even at cold winter days. However I also exchanged the battery, since the compuer told me to charge the old battery (5 years) seemingly without reason. Lesson; a start-stop-battery is not cheap! I don't know if this has contributed to the fix of the cluch operation.
Anyway, now all is fine with the cluch and gearbox, and I'm a happy camper!
