Hi, considering a new Kadjar with the dc115 engine.

Renault has reduced considerably the rated consumption Figures from those in the 70s miles/gallon(figures vary according to trim) to under 60.

From other threads it seams that the old rating was quite overstated. Do you know if same applies to new Kadjar? Or maybe the latter figure are now more realistic?

I realised that the new Kadjar consumption is provided with WLTP figures - I assume the latter are more realistic

After having diesel cars for over the past 50 years when I decided to go for another car this year I carefully looked at my annual mileage especially since retiring as the gap between petrol
and diesel prices gets wider

Once I decided on a Kadjar I looked eve more carefully at the fuel consumption figures and engine performance, I finally decided to buy my 1.3 Dynamic in March this year and thought I would
end up around the upper 30's mpg, however very surprisingly the lowest I get generally get is in the lower 40's and up to 48 mpg on motorways (using the ECO) and the car is nowhere run in yet.

The kadjar is also not exactly mini size and I must say the 1.3 engine performs very well and certainly does not lack power

Thanks for the reply. I have owned only petrol models, with the last one I converted to LPG. The savings are really high.

However when buying a new car one cannot convert to LPG before the warranty expires. In my country the warranty is 5 years. Therefore I decided on diesel. I hope I will not regret it.
