This site will be 6 Years old on the 12th June 2024. Unfortunately, I am finding it difficult to be as hands-on as I used to be so I have some options open to me as follows:

1). Leave the site without any Moderation and let it crash and burn.
2). Allow an existing member still passionate about the website to moderate the site and contact me directly if any issues arise.
3). Lock the site so no new members can join but still have access to view the whole Forum without being able to create new posts/threads.
4). Close the whole site by the end of the year at the latest. For me to carry on with this site, which needs some serious modernisation and upgrades to functions, will take a lot of my time which I do not have right now or in the foreseeable future, along with an element of expense.

I welcome your comments.

very difficult situation. and in Greece many of the forums (car forums) have the same problems.
Maybe someone who has time to moderate.

If you can find somone to take it over then option 2 is favorable, but I fear that given the lack of replies to your post, that is unlikely.

I think that the content of the forum is a valuable resource, more so if people were prepared to seach for an answer rather than just posting a question on Facebook, so option 3 would be better than closing down altogether IMHO.

As a newcomer to this forum I would be mortified if it closed.
Many people do not have the finances to buy new cars and consequently buy cars that are several years old.
Forums like this are a mine of information and invaluable for the newcomer to the marque.
I appreciate the strain you have maintaining this forum but must stress again that because the Kadjar is no longer produced does not detract from the value of this forum.
Please find a solution that allows it to continue.
You have clearly created a great resource which should be maintained and preserved.
Thank you
Chris Reynolds

It will be a shame to see the site close as we are not all mechanics and at 79 its nice to ask for advise from people who know what they are talking about not guessing

As a newcomer to a Renault Kadjar I find this forum very informative and useful.
Many people like me cannot afford the very latest cars and buy 4-5 year old cars.
The accumulated knowledge of this forum is a valuable asset and must not be lost.
Please accept my gratitude for maintaining this site but please ensure it continues.
Thankyou,
Chris Reynolds
