Not me, but then I don't drive with the window open, so a pointless answer I think!

Hi Has anyone noticed a rattle from front windows when open?


The wipe mod for the side windows that was needed on early cars may stop this. Not sure if it applies to later cars. Plus, mine is silent in every respect, but i do have other issues.

I think in the quest for reduced weight and therefore contribution to emissions, everything is being pared down, so thinner glass etc, which inevitably will flex and vibrate when opened on the move... as to whether mine does, I have no idea, I never drive with windows open.

I might receive an award for reviving a topic from the dead, but yes, my passenger window is rattling when half-open. Driver's less, but still you can hear it. I don't think there is a solution though for these things.

I have the same issue; when windows are very slightly open (not more than 1,5-2 cm then I do notice an intense vibrating noise.
It is a defect from the vehicle design so I do not think it can be anyway improved.

Lately I notice occasional when road surface is hard strong rattling noises when window is half open. This clearly is "poor" assembly / quality.
