Hello everybody. Thank you for accepting me as a member. I have a question regarding my new Renault Kadjar. I have done 1500 km since September. When I drive in the motorways over 130 km/h I experience a strange noise maybe from the airways due to heating or cooling I assume. It is a noise like a horn. It seems that air is restricted somehow and it is in the engine. Any guesses? The technicians in the service department say it is nothing however, they have not driven it at that speed.

Early Kadjars had problems with the Rubber Windscreen seal which caused wind noise at higher speeds. Something perhaps a passenger can check for you.

Renault replaced many seals under warranty so if this problem is happening again you should be ok.

Is this happening even if the windscreen is not working?

The seal I'm referring to is that which surrounds the screen.
