Just asking has anyone had an accident with their pano roof... Been looking through my insurance, my question is the roof & rear screen covered on windscreen section . I am guessing it would be a full insurance claim... And before you ask no i have not damaged the roof ...

One would hope they are covered but I guess the ultimate answer must come from your insurer

Hi I mentioned about this recently having discovered that most insurers in R.O.I.do not cover sun roofs or panoramic roofs. I am looking into this further as I feel that a panoramic roof is an integral part of the car it came with and should be covered as is the windscreen,bonnet ,doors,panels etc. It would appear that some insurers in U.K. do cover them. I will update when I have more info.

Hi Just an update to my previous concern re panoramic roof insurance. I am now pleased to say that my insurance company is now covering panoramic roofs.
