renault kadjar - should door open switch be illuminated
I have the door set to auto lock for my wife but…
Now it gets dark earlier, I’m getting frustrated with the door open switch.
I cannot find it in the dark and end up having to open the drivers door to let my passenger in.

Should the door open switch be illuminated? ( like the drivers window button)
If it should then I have a problem, if not it’s a big design fault.

Any thoughts appreciated.

 

Until facelift (2018 or wath) all door switches except on drivers side driver window were in dark. After first update in 2016, also button to adjust mirrors was in in light. Search in AliExpress to buy replacement swirches which are illuminated. Whole set (all 4 doors) costed arround 60€. But pay attention, Qashqai drivers switch central does not fit (physicali), altough electrixaly fits perfect. I did replacement on my Kadyar, also built one-touch open/close on passenger side.
