Hi all I’m new to this forum having just bought my first Kadjar.
I’m very pleased with my purchase as I’ve not ever had a SUV type vehicle before. The car itself is in excellent condition is 4 years old and has only done 36000 miles. The question I have is that I’ve found when driving in 4th 5th and 6th gear at 50 mph or more and I accelerate or decelerate quickly the gear stick noticeably backwards when accelerating and forwards when decelerating. Now when I say moving it’s only about 1/2 cm but if my hands resting on it you can feel it. I have read in other forums that this small movement is quite normal and many have said their Clio’s do it. Apart from that small issue gear changes are very smooth and car was fully serviced and mot when I bought it. Just wondering if anyone else had noticed this on their Kadjar. If it’s any help I have the 1.5 dci.
