I have just bought a Dec 66 Kadjar 1.5dCi   While it’s a super car in many ways, I find the steering rather stiff. I wonder if all Kadjars are the same. When I say stiff, what I mean is this: it is not heavy, but seems to lightly lock when the steering wheel is not moving. This means that when driving along a straight road for example, it is difficult to make the tiny adjustments to keep the car in a straight line. Instead, the steering wheel needs quite a push to get it moving. Once it is turning, it is fine. But when it stops, it seems to lightly lock. This means that you tend to zig-zag along the road and the lane departure warning frequently sounds (I’ve turned it off now). My question is, fellow Kadjar owners, is this normal?

Definitely not the case in mine....

no very smooth action 

dont forget its electric power steering that adapts to driving speed, the faster you go the stiffer the steering.

defo back to the dealer with that one
