A month ago I bought a Renault Kadjar GT Line. I have been advised to go to Halfords to get a dash cam hard wired. Could that have any effect on my warranty?

I had a dash cam fitted by Halfords to my 2019 Kadjar two months ago after checking and asking my local Renault garage, the price for a camera system was ridiculess and after doing a bit of research
had a Nextbase 222 fitted and to date very pleased with it (£104 fitted)

I also had read various reports about the quality of Halfords fitting service many negative ones, but found they did a good professional job for me and even readjusted it when I went back for advice a week later

Attach a picture of the final position as first time fitted it only just caught the edge of the black windscreen central part, moved it 12 mm and problem solved

I leave mine IN as to be honest you can hardly notice it from outside or if you look in the windows, by the way it automatically switches on when you start the car
