today i took my kadjar in for a service plan service. also some work under warranty.
warranty work

1 . passanger interior door handle . leather is peeling off at the seam at the back of the handle
- repaired under warranty. (a bit of glue to put it back in place)

2. Alarm not working.
my rationale for the alarm not working is for when i leave the kids in the car to take a shopping trolley back to the trolley park at the supermarket. Obviously the doors lock as i walk away but their movement inside fails to set off the alarm so i think the motion detectors don't work
- no fault found :(

3. The large pocket on the back of the drivers seat for the use of rear passengers. the top of the pocket (the bit you pull forward to place or remove items has a flexible strip within the pocket which has snapped meaning it does not hang correctly and is unsightly upon use.
- this is not covered under warranty is classed as is damage.. my car has 9,500 miles on the clock i barely pulled on it when it just snapped...the cost to repair ths flexible strip......wait for it....an eye watering £1,159

£1159 just to repair a seat? Surely a new seat for that price.

Not good service so far for you but be happy you did not go to a Ford dealer for service, my local Ford dealer must make more money per day than our hospital car park does in a week, and the NHS hospital car park made £3m profit last year.

In August I took my new Kadjar (at 2500 miles) into our local Renault dealer when the R-Link went absolutely dead, but oh what a surprise for a change, they offered a courtesy car without me asking (at no charge) , they fixed the R-link, washed the car
and booked me in for two recall modifications I knew nothing about for the following week. and same service again.

So far touch wood very pleased with the car and hope the good service so far continues in the future
