I’ve noticed (pretty much from when I got it new) that there are quite a lot of fumes when the car is idling, my husband was behind me one day and commented it’s particularly bad compared to other cars. Also, yesterday I filled it right up, drove home from petrol station which is less than 2 miles, then drove another maybe 6 miles today and before arriving home, my gauge had dropped a whole section. Is this normal? I’m guessing not. Any thoughts? It’s a 66 plate, 1.2 tce.

What you do not say is what MPG you are getting which might explain your petrol loss
I have a 1.3 petrol and just around town get 41 mpg more on a motorway run up to 48 mpg, plus not had any smell and from 'full' the gauge does not drop for ages
say for first 80 mile so yes I think you need it looked at
2019 Silver 1.3 TCe Dynamic turbo petrol, manual,
