With having a bit more time on my hands decided to give my 4 week old car a good clean. So angry to find paint cracked and lifting just off top seam offside wing, obviously never bonded to primer at factory.

Obviously dealer closed for foreseeable future, should I just wipe some vaseline over the crack to stop water getting in? I have sent them an email and images but I imagine I'll be way back of the queue.

Oh Dear from the photos I may be wrong but that does not look like a 'paint issue' rather than something hit it and split the wing ,
anyhow hope you get it sorted

Interesting to see what others think!

Thanks for replying, the car hasn't moved for over a week now but this area of paint is definitely blebbing and the crack in the paint is getting longer. Been no rain at all, actually been decent weather. Got me disappointed with a new vehicle. Dealer been in touch but so can't complain, just have to wait until things get back to normal get it inspected.

Update: as soon as the dealership reopened they were in touch, no quibble agreed it was obviously a factory paint fault, images off to Renault for warranty confirmation, 1 week later car is back here as good as new. Excellent service from Lookers Newcastle!!!
