Hello All,

I have purchased a second hand Gaiter for the one that is ripped on my car, I can get the top of the gaiter off gear stick but I am struggling to get the bottom off the console with damaging the console, Has anyone done this before or do any of you have tricks as too not damage the console? There is a pic as to what area I need to come off

I found three treads on forum related to this, with no reply. I might need it in the future too.

I think pins is possible to press only from bottom side, so bit more of dissembling is needed; watch video from 12 minute (auto version, but should be the same way to get under lever):
