We haven't been using the Kadjar much during lockdown but we did a few long distance drives over the last week and noticed the Check Stop/Start message popping up during the first 10 minutes or so and then disappeared. Do you think this could be down to the battery as the car has only been doing short journeys for about 5 months? Should we take it to the garage to be checked? It's a 66 plate.
Thanks!

Yes. My battery died after 4 years and 2 months and I have a lot of long distance driving in year (at least 2 or 3 with 700km in one piece in one way). Just came back from one of that trip and few days after staying in warm garage simply not start with all possible errors and faults warnings in cluster...

Thanks - the MOT is due in a few weeks so I’ll make sure they check the battery then

Hello. Tell me what to do. The message "Check Stop and Start"appeared. I cleaned the contacts on the battery connector. I connected a new battery - it didn't help.

I’m not sure sorry. I got the Renault garage to look at this when I took my car in for the child lock recall and they said it was to with the calibration of the clutch and that they’d sorted it but a few weeks later the Check Stop & Start message popped up again. I really think that it’s probably to do with lack of use as we don’t use the car much during lockdown, only once or twice a week. It’s booked in for a service next week with our local garage so will ask them to look into it then as well.

Scanned using EML327 for errors, and got errors

1. DTC1525F3 ( in the injection system unit)

2.dtcc42000 (in the abs unit)

The cruise control also stopped working.

Errors are not removed.
